About

Virtual counseling throughout Ohio - there is no physical location to visit. Individual, couples and relationship, family, and group counseling for adults. Specialties include complex and developmental trauma, PTSD and C-PTSD, attachment and relational injuries, anxiety, depression, grief, dissociation, disability and chronic illness, addiction recovery, and major life transitions. Particular expertise supporting LGBTQIA2S+, gender-diverse and neurodivergent clients, and affirming of consensual non-monogamy, kink communities, and sex workers. WPATH SOC v8 assessments and, where clinically indicated, letters of support for gender-affirming care; emotional support animal assessments also available. Approach draws on EMDR and Somatic EMDR, Internal Family Systems-informed parts work, applied polyvagal theory, attachment-based therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. An embedded Intersectional Mental Health Mutual Aid Program reserves part of the practice for pro bono and reduced-fee sliding-scale counseling, subject to capacity and need. Provider: Julia M.
